Today is the Russian presidential election taking place. The forecasts are that former president and prime minister Vladimir Putin will once again regain the presidential post and the control of Kreml for at least another 6 years. However, both the communist leader Gennady Zyuganov and the liberal candidate Vladimir Zhirinovsky, as well as the billionaire Mikhail Prochorov, are approaching Putin's lead.
